Holly’s Law is a UK-based campaign to establish an Animal Protection Disclosure Scheme (similar to Clare’s Law). It would allow police to disclose an individual’s history of animal abuse to partners, professionals, and other eligible individuals where necessary to help prevent escalations into domestic violence.
The campaign was launched by Annette Bramley after her daughter, Holly Bramley, was murdered by her husband in 2023, a perpetrator who had a documented history of harming and killing animals.
The campaign has been joined by Catherine Haworth, a family law solicitor, and is also supported by former senior detective Mark Randell, campaign manager of the Naturewatch Foundation.
